Painting like this lately. Concentrating on composition and the least I need to capture a moment. The fewest brush stokes limited palette and an almost prayerful reverence for the nature around my inner city home. Small works in a series.This is number 3 called Back Alley Forest. 8”x 10” PenAnd Ink with Charcoal and acrylic wash.
Walks in urban forests and city parks and beaches following the vistas of the industrial waterfront in vancouver is changing my painting.
